The Strategic Partnership of Clusters for Excellence, CLAMTEX – Cluster management towards excellence in Advanced Manufacturing and Textile Industry, participated in the event “Policy Learning and Capacity Building on Clusters Driving the Green and Digital Transition,” organized by the European Cluster Collaboration Platform, the European Commission, and the Île-de-France region, held on November 21 and 22 in Paris.
During the event, various experts discussed how clusters can accelerate the green and digital transition in European companies, leveraging different tools and experiences from across Europe.
Tèxtils.CAT, as the coordinator of CLAMTEX, was present at the event and played an important role during the second day. The cluster project manager, Josep Casamada, spoke about the different financing models to support the dual transition, highlighting the new service developed by AEI Tèxtils called “Ruta,” which is assisting a group of partners in defining their roadmap for future investments to accelerate the green and digital transition.
In the afternoon of the second day, Tèxtils.CAT also shared its recent experience with the ClusterXchange program, which took place a few weeks ago. Josep Casamada, as the coordinator of CLAMTEX, emphasized the value of high-quality group events, such as the recent digitalization mission to Portugal organized by the cluster, as a key success factor.
The event concluded with a practical training session on how to build and strengthen intersectoral collaboration between clusters to promote the digital and green transition. In the coming months, CLAMTEX will continue implementing various activities and pilot actions to support the competitiveness of the SMEs involved in the partnership.
