Tèxtils.CAT has launched the Sustaintex project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ program, focused on international cooperation for education and training. Its objective is to promote sustainable economic models in the textile sector.

The project aims to generate an accessible and achievable roadmap for implementing the circular economy and eco-design through the development of an open virtual course on these topics, compile a set of sustainable business models applied to the textile industry, and conduct a course for trainers in this industry from both the academic and business fields.

The project consortium consists of six members from five countries, including universities, technological centers, and entities linked to the European textile sector: Bogazici University (Turkey), as coordinators; ENVIPARK (Italy); Cre.Thi.Dev. (Greece); Genista Research Foundation (Malta); EREB SRL (Italy); and Tèxtils.CAT.

Tèxtils.CAT continues to support initiatives that consolidate and disseminate production models that generate the least possible impact on the environment while maintaining business competitiveness and providing added value.
