Digital transformation and the green transition are a complex and overwhelming journey, but necessary to stay ahead in competitiveness and drive future innovations.

In general, SMEs in the advanced textile materials sector lack the resources and knowledge required to undertake this journey individually.

To facilitate this process, Tèxtils.CAT invites companies in the sector to join the Route, in its second edition, collaborating with other companies through co-creation to advance their transition plans.

By joining the Route, companies will receive training and support, share experiences with other companies, and participate in visits to cutting-edge demonstration facilities or pilot projects.

Co-creation and networking are two of Tèxtils.CAT’s pillars to strengthen the sector and facilitate this transition process.

Thus, together with the participating companies, the cluster will actively co-create the Route’s activities to focus on the specific interests of each company, putting them at the forefront to initiate and lead their own transition process.

Seven member companies of the cluster participated in the first edition, from July 2021 to June 2022, during which various webinars, working sessions, a learning expedition to Portugal to visit practical examples of digitization in sector companies, and finally, an individual implementation plan for each company were organized.

What will companies participating in the Route receive?

They will acquire the necessary knowledge and tools to implement digital transformation and the green transition; they will receive advisory services; identify best practices and ideas for implementation; share experiences; and find “tested” technology providers recommended by other cluster members.

Participation in this Tèxtils.CAT service is open to all companies in the advanced textile materials sector in Catalonia.
